PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article sales data-processing device which can be used in a store which principally conducts cash transactions, reduces a trouble of change payment and a trouble of change supplementation, and enables a customer to handle a small value currency with a reduced trouble.;SOLUTION: When returning a small amount of change of less than 1,000 yen through a POS terminal 200 to which charge and its change are paid in cash principally, the whole amount of change is paid in cash from a drawer 210 when the customer conducts a panel-touching operation 222.
