METHOD OF DISTRIBUTED IPMP DEVICE MESSAGING AND MULTIPLEXING OF RIGHTS IN MPEG IPMP CONTENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which enables all MPEG-n IPMP terminals built in conformity with an IPMP standard to retrieve and processing rights information multiplexed in IPMP content by an inter-operable method.;SOLUTION: The present invention relates to the method for processing rights information multiplexed in a fixed place in an MPEG IPMP system, wherein the rights information is constructed by using a rights language, the rights information multiplexes it in a fixed place of content, and the rights information is sent to an IPMP terminal having a rights management tool on the basis of the rights language. The method includes a step for extracting the rights information from the place in the content and then, routing the extracted rights information to the rights management tool, and a step for later interpreting the rights information in the rights language and controlling content consumption by the rights management tool.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
