DOUBLE-SUCTION TYPE CENTRIFUGAL PUMP AND ITS PERFORMANCE ADJUSTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pullout type pump capable of balancing the shaft thrust while insertion and drawout of an impeller into/from a casing are facilitated, and further capable of cutting the outside configuration of the impeller for adjusting the pumping performance.;SOLUTION: The pump includes a double-suction casing 1 formed by casting in a single-piece construction and a double-suction impeller 7 furnished with impeller rings 4 and 5 in the upper and lower parts of the outlet (c), and is structured so that the double-suction impeller 7, a pump shaft 8, a top cover 10 are coupled together integrally and the impeller 7 is fitted into the casing 1, wherein the upper part diameter D and the lower part diameter d of the impeller outlet (c) are made identical, while the upper sliding part diameter D1 and the lower sliding part diameter d1 at the outlet (c) are given a difference from each other by the upper and lower impeller rings 4 and 5.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
