PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device generating electric power by utilizing solar heat even in an area with extremely low annual rainfall.;SOLUTION: Sunlight is collected and is transferred to a heating board as a heat source, water in a heating water tank is heated and evaporated, and the steam is led into a turbine chamber to rotate a steam turbine, so that a generator interlocked with a shaft of the stream turbine is rotated to generate the electric power. After rotating the stream turbine, the stream is cooled by utilizing temperature difference between the stream and the underground of low temperature through a heat conducting pipe embedded in the ground, and is condensed to water. The water is returned to the heating water tank by a water pump. Since the water circulates in a sealed system, loss of water is reduced and the need of using cooling water is eliminated, so that the device can generate the power advantageously even in an arid area.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
