PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for managing business terms indicating practical semantic contents for a business field for making it easy for a retriever such as the constituting member of a project who retrieves the semantic contents concerning business field terms to understand the semantic contents.;SOLUTION: This business terms management system which is provided to allow a retriever to understand semantic contents concerning vocabulary integrated into electronic data so as to be used for a specific business field consists of a terms storing means for setting the difficulty of understanding as the attributes of the semantic contents, and for storing the attributes and the semantic contents by making them correspond to each other and a selective display means for estimating the understanding level of the retriever concerning the business field to which the retriever is belonging to, and for selectively displaying the semantic contents of the attributes corresponding to the understanding level of the retriever.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
