PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a web selling technology for revising a sales price suitable for the mentality of a user who wants to purchase merchandise more inexpensively and also automatically revising the sales price and updating its site without depending upon a manual input.;SOLUTION: A web selling system is disclosed in which a web server for operating and managing a shopping site is connected to a user terminal through a communication network, wherein the web server has a function which updates a sales price on a merchandise page at the shopping site to a discount price calculated on the basis of a discount rate predetermined whenever a predetermined price maintaining period passes, and also repeatedly performs the update for the predetermined sales period. The web server analyzes the number of accesses to the merchandise page and the number of sales, and when it is determined that at least one numerical value between the number of accesses and the number of sales in a certain price maintaining period is larger than that of the preceding price maintaining period, the web server changes the discount rate of the next price maintaining period to the preceding discount rate or below to calculate a discount price.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
