PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more appropriately decide truth or falsehood of a battery in a camera in which a battery housing unit capable of mounting a plurality of kinds of batteries is installed. PSOLUTION: The truth or falsehood decision system includes a discrimination part 201 which discriminates what is mounted when the battery housing unit 1 mounted with a first battery holder 30 or a second battery 40 is installed on a camera 100, to a mounting part 11 of the battery housing unit 1 of a power supplied object 100 (camera) which has the mounting part 11 capable of directly mounting the second battery 40 while a first battery 31 is mounted on the first battery holder 30; a voltage detecting part 202 which detects the voltage output from the output part of the first battery holder 30 when the first battery holder 30 is judged to be installed; and a truth or falsehood decision part 203 which decides the truth or falsehood of the first battery 31 or the second battery 40 when the voltage is a prescribed value or more, or when the second battery 40 is determined to be installed by the discrimination part 201.
