PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for protecting a turbine blade by selectively covering the turbine blade with a protective film.;SOLUTION: A gas turbine blade (20) previously put to practical use is protected by purifying the blade and then covering both the wing-shaped portion (22) and platform (28) of the blade with the first layer of platinum. Subsequently, the second layer of platinum is attached to the platform 28 without covering wing-shaped portion (22).
