PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a propagation situation investigation method for information, allowing investigation of a propagation situation of information in an information propagation medium propagated with the information by a user.;SOLUTION: A probe information generation device 10 receives an input of original information that is an investigation target of the propagation situation, and applies replacement on notation or on expression to an arbitrary character string used inside the original information to generate probe information. A propagated information transmission device 20 transmits the original information obtained by replacing the character string of a generation source of the probe information by the probe information to the information propagation medium 100 as propagated information. An information propagation decision device 30 collects the information from the information propagation medium 100, decides whether the probe information is included or not, and decides presence/absence of the propagation of the information.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
