PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas feeder for coating fuel particles used in a high temperature gas-cooled reactor having no possibility of affecting a coating layer thickness, density and an SiC layer damage rate of a product. PSOLUTION: This gas feeder supplies coating gas into a fluidized bed reaction tube executed with four layers of coating layers which are the first coating layer as a buffer for absorbing swelling of a gas reservoir for a gaseous fission product and a fuel kernel, on a surface of the fuel kernel of sintered uranium dioxide, the second coating layer as a holding function for the gaseous fission product, the third coating layer as a holding function for the gaseous fission product and a strength member function, and the fourth coating layer as a holding function for the gaseous fission product and a protection layer function for the third coating layer. The feeder is provided with a temperature regulation means for regulating a temperature of an evaporation gas generating vessel for generating the third coating gas supplied into a fluidized bed reactor when forming the third coating layer, and the temperature regulation means includes temperature regulation for one or more out of an upper lid part for the evaporation gas generating vessel, a hydrogen gas introducing pipe for introducing hydrogen gas into the generating vessel, and a generated gas drawing-out pipe for drawing out generated gas generated in the generating vessel.
