PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the kneading of a synthetic resin by lowering a melting temperature and reducing specific energy with respect to a synthetic resin raw material with high melting viscosity while increasing the melting temperature and the specific energy with respect to a synthetic resin raw material with low melting viscosity by providing a freely movable wall surface member in a kneading part on the most upstream side. PSOLUTION: This kneading degree adjusting device of a twin-screw kneading extruder comprises a supply part (A), a first transport part (B), at least two kneading parts, a gate part (D), a second transport part (E) and a discharge part (F). A kneading degree is adjusted in the gate part (D) and, in the kneading part (C) positioned at the most upstream side, the interval between the wall surface of the inner through-hole (11a) of a cylinder (11) and the outer periphery of a screw (12) is changed by moving the wall surface member (13a) of the inner through-hole (11a) of the cylinder (11) in the axially right-angled direction of the screw (12) to adjust plasticization.
