PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To predict the deformation of a recording medium more accurately than ever before.;SOLUTION: This deformation curvature prediction device includes: curvature history acquisition means 1 acquiring curvature history information on the recording medium; viscoelasticity history acquisition means 2 acquiring viscoelasticity history information on the recording medium; internal stress distribution calculation means 3 integrating the internal stress of the recording medium increased/reduced according to a change in the curvature of the recording medium based on the curvature history information and viscoelasticity history information, and acquiring the internal stress distribution of the recording medium after the change in curvature; and deformation curvature calculating means 4 calculating the deformation curvature of the recording medium equilibrated with the internal stress distribution acquired by the internal stress distribution calculation means 3 as the deformation curvature of the recording medium after the change in curvature.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
