ACTIVATED COKE FOR EXHAUST GAS TREATMENT PROCESS UTILIZING MOVING BED SYSTEM, WHICH IS EXCELLENT IN DURABILITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide activated coke which has a larger average grain diameter and is reduced in replenishing amount and used in an exhaust gas treatment process utilizing a moving bed system.;SOLUTION: The activated coke is produced by using coal as a main raw material and used in the exhaust gas treatment process utilizing the moving bed system. The activated coke has a double layer structure composed of a surface layer part having an average carbon particle filling ratio of ≥60% and an inner layer part having an average carbon particle filling ratio of 60%. It is preferable that the boundary between the surface layer part and the inner layer part is within a range of 0.5-0.9 in terms of the ratio Rm/Ri of the radius (Rm) of the inner layer part of the activated coke to the radius (Ri) of the activated coke.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
