PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight filling structure which contributes to shortening of a construction period and reduction of construction costs by simplifying erection work of supports 30 for mounting a wall face plate 5 thereon, and minimizes use of a plot except for a plot essentially required for construction of the lightweight filling structure, and to provide a method of expanding the width of the lightweight filling structure using the same.;SOLUTION: The lightweight filling structure A is at least made up of lightweight filling formed of resin foamed blocks 4 which are piled up in multiple stages, a finishing structural material such as a roadbed material 8, the supports 30 arranged along a side surface of the lightweight filling, and the wall face plates 5 mounted on the supports 30. According to the lightweight filling structure, a lower end of each support 30 is not supported by foundation concrete, but supported by means of anchor members 41, 21 embedded in an upper concrete floor slab 40 and a lower concrete floor slab 20, respectively, at least at two, upper and lower locations.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
