PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for preventing excess penetration of a refrigerant into refrigerator oil, dispensing with heating with a heater or the like during stop by covering an oil separator with a heat insulating material so as not to cool the oil separator after the operation stop of a refrigerator.;SOLUTION: In a refrigerating apparatus provided with the oil separator and using lubricating oil compatible with the refrigerant, a pressure relief line is connected to a line for connecting an evaporator to a compressor inlet, from the oil separator through an on-off valve, and a pressure detector is provided for detecting pressure in the oil separator. A control device is provided for controlling opening/closing of the on-off valve so that the pressure in the oil separator becomes a prescribed pressure at the operation stop of the refrigerating apparatus.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
