PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damage remote monitoring system of a coated pipe and a damage remote monitoring method of the coated pipe capable of monitoring a damage of the coated pipe simply and surely with a simple structure.;SOLUTION: This damage remote monitoring system of the coated pipe for monitoring the damage of the coated pipe 53A covered with a coating layer 55 is provided with a vibration sensor 2A mounted on the coated pipe 53A, for detecting vibration of the coated pipe 53A; a noise sensor 3 provided near the coated pipe 53A, for detecting a noise generated from a place other than the coated pipe 53A; a signal processing device 4 for comparing a vibration detection signal inputted from the vibration sensor 2A with a set value, comparing the vibration detection signal with a vibration noise detection signal inputted from the noise sensor 3, and detecting an abnormality when determining that the vibration detection signal is larger than the set value and that the vibration detection signal is larger than the vibration noise detection signal; and a portable telephone 5 for outputting an alarm when the signal processing device 4 detects an abnormality.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
