PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical deflector in which a mirror tilting plate for tilting a mirror face and a base for mounting this plate can be integrally formed.;SOLUTION: In this optical deflector, a mirror tilting body 11 is integrally formed with: a fixture 11a that has a bottom face 11a1 for fixed installation; a pair of plate springs 11b2, 11b3 that are extended in a thin plate so as to make them elastically displaceable while oppositely facing with a prescribed width B from the fixture 11a in the height direction; a mirror face 11b4 that is provided successively to each end of the pair of plate springs 11b2, 11b3 and that deflects incident light for emission; and mirror face restraining means 11b5, 11b6 that control the mirror face 11b4 from a non-tilted first position to a second position tilted at a prescribed angle.
