PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a file management person responsible to allow every client to correctly and simply store files.;SOLUTION: In a system in which a plurality of data processing units and a server that stores files in a plurality of storage devices to share the files are connected through a network, a plurality of storage processing means are provided that correspond to each of a plurality of the storage devices and register a received file with the relevant storage device in a given storage mode, and a plurality of the storage processing means are set as shared objects. If accessed from the data processing unit through the network, the system displays the shared object as an icon on the screen for the data processing unit.
