PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting device for an electrooptical device that can prevent a body to be held from hanging down when the body to be held is held by supporting a thin plate type member whose tip is connected to the body to be held and which has a specified length and can convey and process the body to be held while holding a posture.;SOLUTION: The supporting device 1 which holds the posture of a liquid crystal device by clamping a flexible FPC 7 extending from the liquid crystal device from above and below is equipped with a first member 2 which supports the FPC 7 nearby both width-directional ends 7r from below the FPC 7 and a second member 3 which presses a width-directional center part 7c of the FPC 7 from above, and is characterized in that the first member 2 has a recessed part 2h formed in the width-directional center part and the second member 3 has a projection part 3t pressing the FPC 7 to deform according to the recessed part 2h to clamp the FPC 7 with the recessed part 2h and projection part 3t and presses the FPC 7 to deform.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
