PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically identify a communication party at a return termination side from a public terminal.;SOLUTION: Originate side extension numbers (c) are made to correspond to reporting originate side numbers (d) and originator identification numbers (b) are made to correspond to voice guidance (g) for the originators and stored in a memory beforehand, respectively. The originate side extension numbers (c), originate side public network terminal numbers (e) and (b) are related and stored in the memory at the time of an originating operation by the originators. The originate side extension number (c) at the time of the originating operation by the originator is converted to (d), and sent toward a public network. At terminating as a return to the originating, (d) is converted to (c) and (b) corresponding to the converted (c) and (e) is retrieved.
