PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image composite apparatus capable of producing a high quality multiply exposed image from a plurality of images consecutively photographed. PSOLUTION: The image composition procedure includes a step S15 of extracting respective principal objects from n pieces of consecutively photographed images; a step S16 of superimposing and mapping images, in which the principal objects alone are given pixel values, sequentially on a memory in time series to produce a superimposed image (composite image); and a step S19 of superimposing and compositing the superimposed image on a background image when the superimposing composition of n pieces of images in which the principal objects alone are given pixel values is completed in step S17.
