PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase rising performance of laser output. PSOLUTION: A processor installed in the controller of a laser marker performs duty control of laser output by imparting, to the driving device of the laser oscillator 11, a laser output control signal repeating on/off at a duty factor and a duty period corresponding to a set laser output. The laser output control signal is designed such that, after a stretch pulse having an on-period longer than the regular pulse NP of the on-period tn determined by the duty factor is outputted in one or more pulses in the duty period T, the regular pulse NP is repeatedly outputted in the duty period T.
