PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a cost, a space, and an electric power in a semiconductor laser, and to provide a semiconductor laser driving device by which good transmission characteristics and an optical output are obtained on the receiving side over a total driving temperature range in the driving of the semiconductor laser.;SOLUTION: This semiconductor laser driving device is provided with: a bias current setting unit 232 for setting a bias current value so that the temperature characteristic of the bias current value with respect to the driving temperature becomes a linear function having a slope other than 0 based on the driving temperature; and a driving current setting unit 233 for setting a driving current value so that the temperature characteristic of the driving current value with respect to the driving temperature becomes a function having a slope other than 0 based on the driving temperature.
