PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for molding a rigid polyurethane foam readily improving the low-temperature dimensional stability according to an inexpensive method in the rigid polyurethane foam using hydrocarbons alone or the hydrocarbons and water in combination as a foaming agent and to provide a method for producing the composition. PSOLUTION: A solution is reached by using a compound adjacently having an unsaturated bond and a carbonyl group as a modifying additive in an amount of 0.01-20 pts. mass based on 100 pts. mass of an organic polyisocyanate or a polyol.
