PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braiding method for braiding a four wire transmission line excellent in transmission characteristics such as attenuation and delay between one end and the other end.;SOLUTION: A braiding apparatus 100 braids a four wire transmission line 10 composed of: a pair of parallel conductors L1-L2 arranged in parallel with a spacing W; and a pair of braided conductors L3-L4 symmetrically weaved along the lengthwise direction of the parallel conductors L1-L2. The braiding apparatus 100 includes: bobbins 61 to 64 which supply four conductors; a top plate 30 on which a track 31 is formed, where the track allows the bobbins 63-64 for the two conductors L3-L4 to perform a turning movement substantially in "8" shape; a pin roller 40 which braids the conductors L3-L4 sent from the bobbins 61 to 64 between the parallel conductors L1-L2 with a predetermined pit; and a press roll 50 which flattens the braided four conductors L1 to L4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
