To provide a soft contact lens solution and a method for producing the same that can reduce allergic symptoms without frequent instillation of drugs. As the allergen deactivating component, the soft contact lens was brought into contact with a soft contact lens solution containing polyphenol in an aqueous medium, and the allergen deactivating component was incorporated into the soft contact lens.
