PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control unit for a distributed power supply system and a network system of the scattered power supply systems that achieve high efficiency power generation and that are friendly to environment, by determining whether the generated power of power generating devices can follow consumed power that sharply rises or falls within a predetermined short period of time exceeding the output response capability of the power generating devices, and by generating electric power with the power generating devices, according to the result of the decision. PSOLUTION: The operation control unit 30 for the scattered power supply systems is provided with a memory 31 which stores data of consumed power detected by a wattmeter 22; and a follow-up control determining device 32 which determines whether a permission is to be given to the performance of the follow-up control, by determining whether the consumed power rises or falls sharply within a predetermined short period of time exceeding the output response capability of the power-generating devices, based on the data of the consumed power stored in the memory 31. If no permission for performing the follow-up control is determined by the follow-up control determining device 32, the performance of the follow-up control is regulated; otherwise, follow-up control is performed.
