PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a constant cross section of a rail for stairs elevator, and to bend this rail along the bend of a stairs. ;SOLUTION: A rail 2 for stairs elevator is laid along a stairs 10 so as to guide the elevation of a lift body 3. Since the rail 2 is formed by continuously connecting rail pieces 6 formed by overlapping an upper rail body and a lower rail body, which are respectively formed by overlapping plural plate pieces, with an upper part and a lower part of a side plate, cross section is formed constant, and radius of curvature can be restricted small.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
