PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication cable cover and a communication cable protecting structure that are installed in a manhole to protect a communication cable at examination or cleaning, in a conduit in which a communication cable is installed.;SOLUTION: A communication cable is laid almost above an existing conduit. A communication cable cover 1 is installed in the manhole of the existing conduit to protect the communication cable. It comprises a protection part 2 which protects the communication cable, a fixing part 3 for fitting the protection part 2 to the wall surface of manhole directly or indirectly so that it is positioned nearer to the pipe axis relative to the communication cable, and a space section 4 for drawing out the communication cable in the existing conduit into the manhole.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
