PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily discriminate the presence of deposition of calcium carbonate or calcium phosphate onto a filtration membrane, to regeneration-treat the filtration membrane in which calcium carbonate and/or calcium phosphate are/is detected, and to provide a test kit for discriminating easily the presence of the deposition of calcium carbonate and/or calcium phosphate in a hollow fiber membrane.;SOLUTION: The presence of the deposition of calcium carbonate and calcium phosphate onto the filtration membrane is carried out, by making one portion of the filtration membrane contact with an aqueous acidic solution such as an aqueous nitric acid to detect calcium carbonate based on generation of bubbles from a membrane surface, and by adding silver nitrate to the aqueous nitric acid solution to detect calcium phosphate based on generation of a precipitate, respectively. The filtration membrane in which calcium carbonate and/or calcium phosphate are/is detected is regenerated by acid washing, after a deposition determination test. The test kit for the deposition discrimination of calcium carbonate and/or calcium phosphate in the hollow fiber membrane is constituted of a test container filled preliminarily with the aqueous nitric acid solution, and a reagent comprising silver nitrate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
