PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption and to enable communicating operation by activating an apparatus on the side of reception at suitable timing by providing a control means or the like for activating the apparatus into communicative state at least by turning on a power source switch means when light sent from transmission side apparatus is detected. SOLUTION: When power source operation is detected as any operation due to a user, a CPU 10 turns on a main power source switch 14 and turns the apparatus into main power source ON state.
