PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which enables an analyzation of low-molecular weight proteins contained in a biological sample only by a small amount.;SOLUTION: This method is a method for analyzing proteins of 5,000-60,000 Dalton molecular weight contained in a suspension derived from the biological sample by electrophoresis, and comprises: (1) a first process for bringing the suspension, a primary sample, into contact with particles, which have small spaces inside connected to and in contact with the outside and of which the external surfaces except the external surfaces of the small spaces have a higher hydrophilicity than the external surfaces of the small spaces; (2) a second process for forming a secondary sample by bringing a polar solvent into contact with the particles acquired in the first process; and (3) a third process for separating the secondary sample formed in the second process by electrophoresis and detecting the separated proteins.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
