PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter recovering the thrombus crushed by a liquid jet flow without increasing a burden applied to the human body. PSOLUTION: This catheter 1 is inserted with an optical fiber 3 in which a laser beam from an laser oscillator 2 is guided thereinside, which is provided with a tube 10 filled with a predetermined liquid W which absorbs the laser beam emitted from the distal end of the optical fiber 3, generates a liquid jet flow J in the liquid W by the laser beam emitted from the distal end of the optical fiber 3 and jets the liquid from the distal end of the tube 10. This catheter 1 is characterized in generating a flow in the direction opposite to the liquid jet flow J in the tube 10 and sucking the crushed thrombus through the distal end of the tube 10.
