PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a stirrer used for a particle analyzer compact in size. PSOLUTION: The stirrer comprises an ultrasonic vibrator, a stirring member, and a support member that supports the ultrasonic vibrator, and rotatably supports the stirring member about the ultrasonic vibrator. The support member supports the ultrasonic vibrator, the stirring member is rotatably supported about the ultrasonic vibrator, and the ultrasonic vibrator and the stirring member are integrated, thus miniaturizing the stirrer for use as a small capacity sample stirring chamber.
