PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forgery prevention transfer foil which can be integrally molded with a forgery prevention layer to cause a verification function layer to develop a structural color without hindrance and further can impart a verification function thereto, a forgery prevention seal, a forgery prevention medium, and a method for manufacturing the same. PSOLUTION: The forgery prevention transfer foil or the like provided with a transfer layer comprising an OVD (Optical Variable Device) having an OVD forming layer and an OVD effect layer on a support includes a transmission type region where the OVD effect layer is partially provided with a light transparent thin film of a high-refractive index material of the refractive index higher than that of a transparent material of the OVD forming layer in the OVD forming layer and a reflection type region where the OVD forming layer surface is partially provided with a light reflective thin film.
