PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell-micro gas turbine combined power generation facility capable of stably supplying necessary pressurized air from the starting of a fuel cell to its steady operation without requiring an additional facility for starting, extensively adjusting the fuel flow rate to eliminate the fear of misfire even in gradual reduction of combustion quantity, and minimizing the pressure fluctuation in extinguishment to prevent the generation of an interpolar differential pressure; and its starting method. PSOLUTION: This facility has a fuel-cell power generating set 20 having the fuel cell 11, a micro gas turbine 22 having a revolution-variable generator, an air supply line 24 for evacuating compressed air from the micro gas turbine and supplying it to the fuel-cell power generating set, an exhaust gas line 26 for supplying exhaust gas containing oxygen from the fuel-cell power generating set to the micro gas turbine, and an exhaust gas catalytic combustor 28 provided in the exhaust gas line.
