摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a fermentation process for preparing teicoplanin under an aerobic condition by isolating a variant strain having higher productivity than that of a strain for producing teicoplanin and using the variant strain.;SOLUTION: The fermentation method for maximally producing teicoplanin comprises using variant Actinoplanes teichomyceticus BNG 2315 deposited as accession number KCCM-10601 in Korean Culture Center of Microorganism. The fermentation for preparing teicoplanin under an aerobic condition comprises a variant strain having higher productivity than that of Actinoplanes teichomyceticus nov. sp. (ATCC-31121) strain.
