PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote operation device which makes it possible to remotely operate different kinds of operation devices having different data constitution by using a common transmitter and receiver.;SOLUTION: A common commander, a receiver, and a data converter are provided and necessary data signals such as a manipulation command signal and an operation command signal are sent from the common commander according to a previously set reference data storage format and sent further to the common data converter through the common receiver; and the data converter converts the data signals based upon the reference data storage format to data based upon a specified data storage format set to a specific operation device and sends the data to an operation part, so that different kinds of operation devices are operated by the common remote operation device.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
