PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rationally and easily fix window glass in a short time with no sealing problem not only in the case of new manufacture but also in the case of repair.;SOLUTION: The window glass 4 is fitted from the outside of a vehicle into a window frame 3 that can be put in and out of a window opening 2 from the inside of the vehicle, and a seal 5 is applied thereto and fixed to constitute a window unit 22 in advance. The window unit 22 is fitted to the window opening 2 from the inside of the vehicle and put on the vehicle interior side of the window opening 2. The window frame 3 is screw-fastened to a door side window support frame 24 extending along the outside of the window frame 3, from the outside through a working clearance 23 between a vehicle outer side face 4a of the outer peripheral part of the window glass 4 and a vehicle outside opening edge 2a1 of the window opening 2. The window glass 4 is thereby fitted into the window opening 2 through the window frame 3, and the seal 5 is applied to obtain a fixed state, thus attaining the purpose.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
