PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an agricultural and horticultural plant disease damage control composition which not only effectively controls plant disease damages in cultivation of agricultural and horticultural plants, especially crops but also has excellent safety and is excellent in terms of the environmental conservation.;SOLUTION: The agricultural and horticultural plant disease damage control composition comprises (a) at least one kind selected from the group consisting of an alkali metal acetate and an alkali metal citrate and (b) at least one kind selected from the group consisting of an alkylbenzenesulfonic acid salt, a polyoxyalkylene alkyl (or alkenyl) ether phosphoric acid, a polyoxyalkylene alkyl (or alkenyl) ether phosphoric acid salt, a polyoxyalkylene alkyl (or alkenyl) ether, a polyoxyethylene/polyoxypropylene block polymer, a polyoxyalkylene ether silicone-based surfactant and an alkylaminocarboxylic acid amphoteric surfactant.
