PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and efficiently check the presence of vacuum insulation materials and the number and position of the vacuum insulation materials when they are mounted, in various types of collected heat-insulated products such as refrigerators.;SOLUTION: By using an injector-like detection device 11 comprising a needle part 12, a cylinder part 13 and a piston part 14, the needle part 12 is stuck into a heat insulating layer 8 to be inspected, and movement of air 15 stored in the cylinder part 13 beforehand to the heat insulating layer 8 is detected, so as to determine the presence of a vacuum insulation material inside the heat insulating layer 8. Since inside of the vacuum insulation material 9 is usually in a decompression state compared with the atmospheric pressure, when the needle part 12 is stuck, the air 15 inside the cylinder part 13 is flowed to the vacuum insulation material 9 side, or the heat insulating layer 8 side, due to pressure difference. Therefore, when movement of the piston part 14 accompanied by the flow is detected, it is determined that the vacuum insulation material 9 exists in the heat insulating layer 8.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
