PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operator supporting device having a hip pad capable of easily altering height position in a light and simple structure.;SOLUTION: A cushion for usually supporting the operator is disposed in the back part of an operation room of a reach fork lift that is driven and operated in a standing state. A vertical waist pad 10 for supporting the waist of the operator is disposed over the end of a side frame 4 surrounding the operation room on a doorway side, the hip pad 20 for supporting the hip of the operator is disposed height-variably on the waist pad 10. The hip pad 20 locks mounting metal fittings 22a and 22b fixed to the hip pad with support members 12a and 12b disposed in the waist pad 10 at vertically any positions.
