PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device manufacturing method for well casting and forming a press contact assist cam or a back torque cam cast on a clutch member or a presser, either of which has a reverse gradient face.;SOLUTION: The method is provided for manufacturing a power transmission device which has a clutch housing 2 and a clutch member 4 consisting of a plurality of driving side clutch plates 6 and a plurality of driven side clutch plates 7 alternately formed in the clutch housing 2 and connected to an output member for transmitting or cutting off driving force with the press contact/separation of the driving side clutch plates 6 with/from the driven side clutch plates 7. Herein, a window portion 5c or 4c is formed by passing through a portion of the presser 5 or the clutch member 4 corresponding to the press contact assist cam or the back torque limiter cam and a pin shaped mold P1 or P2 is inserted therethrough via the window portion 5c or 4c to form the reverse gradient face of the press contact assist cam or the back torque limiter cam.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
