PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product design support system capable of checking a manufacturing condition when a product is designed, and designing the product which reliably satisfies the manufacturing condition, and to provide a product design support method.;SOLUTION: The product design support system is the system for supporting the design of the product, including: a shape setting means for receiving the input of a product shape; a manufacturing condition setting means for setting the manufacturing condition of the product; a manufacturing determining means for determining whether or not the product whose shape is set can be manufactured under the set manufacturing condition; and a reporting means for reporting that the product cannot be manufactured under the manufacturing condition when it is determined that the product cannot be manufacturing under the set manufacturing condition.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
