PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of operating extenders in parallel when original image data is restored from compression data and outputted, and outputting the image data at speed corresponding to performance. PSOLUTION: The image data processor includes: a compression processing part for dividing the image data into a plurality of partial data in a prescribed size, generating link information to be used for joining the divided partial data, compressing each partial data, and generating joinable partial compression data to be joined based on the link information; a plurality of extending parts for respectively extending the partial compression data; a data control part for determining an area with each partial compression data stored therein, based on the link information, and operating the extending parts in parallel; and an image data storage part for storing the respectively extended and generated partial data. The data control part determines a storage area in the image data storage part for storing the partial data, based on the link information and the prescribed size, and then, determining order to output the respective partial data, based on the link information.
