PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve resilience, impact absorbency and vibration attenuation capability at the same time in a light-weight racket frame. PSOLUTION: The plastic string protection material consists of a cylindrical member and a flat-board-shaped bottom part continued from the cylindrical member. The string protection material has a cut passing the center axis of the cylindrical member from the bottom part to the cylindrical member, and a viscoelastic material, made of a rubber material whose elastic modulus is lower than that of the string protection member, is applied between the string protection member and the racket frame.
