PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit/receive data even if different communication schemes, such as a content code communication scheme and a one-to-one communication scheme based on a destination designation coexist on the same transmission line.;SOLUTION: In a distributed control system wherein a plurality of apparatuses are connected via a transmission line, each of the apparatuses comprising a control processing device including an arithmetic means for performing apparatus control or processing of communication or the like with another apparatus and a storage means for storing a program processed by the arithmetic means, the control processing device includes a comparating selector circuit for selecting a message to be received out of messages flowing on the transmission line, and the control processing device is characterized by being connected to the transmission line via the comparating selector circuit. A time and a load required for communication processing in a CPU are remarkably reduced, a controller is configurable using an inexpensive CPU, communication processing does not affect other control processing or the like, and a safe distributed control system can be easily constructed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
