PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester-based film excellent in film production effi ciency, wide in a speed condition in a process for laminating with a metal plate, excellent in adhesion with a metal plate, a film laminated metal plate excellent in formability into cans without contaminating the can making process, nor damaging metal fixtures, and a beautiful metal container excellent in barrier properties and corrosion resistance, preventing generation of cracks caused by shocks such as drop or the like.;SOLUTION: In a biaxially oriented white polyester film, a polyester-based film made of three layers of A/B/A comprises an A-layer which does not contain titanium oxide and a B-layer which contains 15 to 35 wt.% of titanium dioxide, and the thickness ratio of B-layer to the total thickness is not less than 45%, and the shock strength of the film is not less than 0.25 J.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
