PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel, a collapsible lens barrel, and a zoom lens barrel which is capable of effectively utilizing a limited bow-shaped space between the notched surface and a cam mechanism, securing the strength of a guide holding part on a barrel substrate, while keeping the extension length of a back side lens group long, by devising the arrangement of a shutter unit provided with a notched surface parallel to the optical axis with respect to an image-pickup element and is capable of securing the stable fixation and the length required when a shutter extends forward by means of the guide holding part by making a flexible print substrate of the shutter come into a space surrounded by the guide holding part, the notched surface of the shutter unit, and the inner surface of the cam mechanism.;SOLUTION: The shutter 5 has such a constitution that the notched surface 5a parallel to the optical axis is disposed on the outer periphery of substantially disc-shaped body, is fixed to a front side lens frame 2A so that the notched surface becomes almost parallel to the diagonal line of the image pickup element 6 whose notched surface is rectangular and is constituted so that a lead screw 7a and the guide holding part 1a come into the space surrounded by the inner wall of the cam mechanism C and the notched surface of the shutter when the front side lens frame moves backwards.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
