PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for requesting channel time allocation and a method for receiving data during an allocated channel time in a coordinator-based wireless network.;SOLUTION: The apparatus includes a controller for generating a packet requesting, to a coordinator, a channel time for receiving data in a coordinator-based wireless network, and a transceiver that sends the generated packet to the coordinator.
